I first became interested in therapy in the 90s as a Holistic massage therapist, this was my first, formal introduction to the mind, body connection, I found it so fascinating I read every book I could on the subject and I continued for twenty years.

Early on, I realised that my true passion was helping people to feel better, not just physically but also mentally.  I  noticed that clients would often open up and share personal thoughts during treatments. It was good to know  that person felt comfortable opening up to me, and it made my work incredibly fulfilling. I believe that fulfilment is what really brings happiness and contentment. This is what I strive for in my work with all my clients. I myself have needed to work through many difficult times in my life but you need more than insight into your own pain to help others, you need training, structure and empathy.

To further my career and interests in this field, I decided to train and gain a qualification in CBT Hypnotherapy with The UK College of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy which is based in London and approved by the British Psychological Society. The training was all evidence based and thorough.
